DASCOM card printer supports mountain railway tourism in Austria

Starjack supports the mountain railways in Austria and Germany with a web-based ticket solution and their web shops.
The software company Medatec developed several interfaces specifically for the DC-7600 in order to adapt it to the wishes of mountain railway tourism.

The DC-7600 enables individual designs for the different mountain railways. Starjack is happy about the investment in the new card printer. “Printing in-house gives us more freedom, we can make changes according to our wishes ,” says Sarah Rath, who is responsible for starjack’s B2B area. An integrated print mask editor, for example, allows us to make even small changes to the design independently.

Since then, starjack has recently been in... prints in-house, quality and service have improved significantly. “Customer complaints about ticket printing have decreased by 80% ,” says Sarah Rath. And so at starjack in Vorarlberg they are excitedly looking forward and are already focusing on further expanding individualized keycard production in order to establish themselves even more strongly than before as a reliable partner in the mountain railway industry.
