DASCOM Americas to Launch New DC-2300 Card Printer in Las Vegas during ISC West Security Conference and Trade Event

Mar 22, 2022

DASCOM Americas, a recognized industry leader in business transaction print solutions today announced it will launch its new DC-2300 modular direct-to-card (DTC) printer March 23rd in conjunction with the ISC West Security Conference and Tradeshow in Las Vegas.

The DC-2300 is the latest addition to the DASCOM card printer line and provides an exceptional high resolution, value-priced solution for organizations looking to utilize the security features of card printing to mitigate compromise of important business and personal organizational data.

The DC-2300 has an aesthetically appealing space-saving modular design, offers high throughput with the ability to print up to 180 cards per hour, and comes with a card feeder with one hundred card capacity. The unit can print single-side, edge-to-edge, or has the optional capability to print dual-sided. It comes with standard 300 dpi resolution with the added possibility for either 300 x 600 or 300 x 1200 dpi print.

According to Juan Vidaurrazaga, Vice President of Sales for DASCOM Americas: “The DC-2300 is one of our most refined and sophisticated DTC printers developed to date. It provides brilliant, high-resolution colors and includes DASCOM security options with optional holographic capability for even greater security. The modular design allows users to print dual-sided with an optional duplexer without compromising its small footprint. And while the printer comes standard with DASCOM CardEditor software, not to be overlooked within the unit’s features is the critical possibility to use the printer with a host of the most popular encoding solutions. This means users have excellent choices for integration and specific encoding that best matches their optimal fit and unique security or access control solution.”

The DC-2300 offers several standard interface choices including USB 2.0, USB host, and Ethernet 10/100 Duplex mode as well as many “creature comforts” including a newly designed easy-to-load ribbon cartridge.

Full DC-2300 specifications as well as the complete range of DASCOM print solutions can be found on the DASCOM Americas website at www.dascomamericas.com.
