DASCOM Americas To Exhibit at IDENTITY Week 2024

Sep 16, 2024
  1. DASCOM Americas, a Central Virginia-based provider of card printers and innovative card printing technology solutions for the security and access control market today announced it will be exhibiting at IDENTITY WEEK in Washington, D.C. September 11th & 12th 2024.

  2. According to its website: “IDENTITY WEEK is a conference and exhibition bringing together the brightest minds in the identity sector to promote innovation, new thinking, and more effective identity solutions.” The event connects thousands of identity professionals across a broad spectrum of disciplines ranging from finance, retail, healthcare, government, travel, and other segments of the broader commercial for-profit and not-for-profit markets.

  3. DASCOM Americas will display the world class Retransfer and Direct-To-Card versions of its card printer products which support access control, ID, badges, Secure Credentials, and security environments. The company offers and will be showing their top-line retransfer printers including the DC-8600 and DC-7600. The retransfer printers provide exceptional features such as the  PatchIM invention, allowing users to laminate cards without the requisite for a separate lamination station. PatchIM not only saves the customer money on capital equipment purchase and space but provides an all-in-one solution that yields enhanced security capability and longer shelf-life for printed cards.

  4. Alongside the retransfer offering DASCOM will also be showing its very popular DC-2300 Direct-to-Card printer that is fast, affordable, and perfect for Identification printing or badges. Combining it with a biometric issuance solution, like the IDBX from CardLogix, the DC-2300 becomes a very cost-effective solution for instant issuance of secure credentials.

  5. In fact, DASCOM Americas will have in its booth an application from one of its value-added integrators, CardLogix, who specializes in using our printer offering as part of one of the company’s advanced BIOSID and CLX Enroll Biometric solutions. CardLogix will present the IDBX Biometric solution as a part of the DASCOM complete package of total solutions geared towards the security and identity industry.

  6. According to Mike Wojciak, Director of Card Printer Sales for DASCOM Americas “IDENTITY WEEK presents a terrific opportunity for DASCOM to showcase our total solution in the biometrics arena along with our other stand-alone printers that help bring access control, identity verification, and security to the absolute forefront of organizations across the world.

  7. We look at the dates for the show and think back some 23 years later and realize the magnitude of the moment and location contrasted against the innovation and steps we have collectively taken in security and identification since that fateful time. We strongly believe that our solutions can help to abate security issues whether they be of large scale or smaller scale. It is humbling, challenging, and exciting to bring quality solutions for our customers today. We really hope to show that we are a different kind of company with advanced and differing features in our card printer and technology line up.”

  8. DASCOM Americas serves the Americas markets and is owned in whole by DASCOM Holdings, a Hong Kong-based company with more than 35 years of experience in providing technology solutions. The company does business in more than eighty countries around the globe and offers diverse solutions for customers in a broad range of markets.
