High Security Printing™ Latin America provides a forum for “the latest technologies and techniques in the production and issuance of banknotes, ePassports, ID cards, visas, and other secure documents across Latin America” according to the show’s website.

Held annually, the show has existed since 2012 and offers regional insights and solutions while highlighting the latest innovations in document securities from the 30-40 exhibiting companies.

Juan Vidaurrazaga, Vice-President of Sales for DASCOM Americas says: “This show is very important to DASCOM because it provides a great venue for us to show very focused innovations to key market segments in the region including Governments, Central Banks, Law Enforcement, Border and Immigration Control, Banknote Issuing Authorities, and select others who can great benefit from the premier security offerings we provide. Our line of secure card printers, innovative and distinct technology features, and integrative complete solutions in partnership with value-added integration resellers in the security industry will provide unique opportunities for advanced and unparalleled identity protective measures for extremely sensitive print applications. We very much like that the show is small and selective in its exhibiting companies. This means that only those with the latest innovative technologies come together in a much smaller group to show the absolute best products and services.”

Efrain Ferreira, DASCOM Americas Latin America Sales Manager adds: “We will be presenting identification solutions that include our DC-7600 retransfer card printer with HoloPatch™ that sets the bar extremely high for fast, secure card printing with a unique technology that others do not provide. In addition, as part of our total solutions lineup, we will feature and present an integrative BIOSID issuance system from our partner CardLogix that will include our DC-2300 direct-to-card, high-speed card printer. These offerings will give attendees several unmatched choices in security and biometric print solutions.”

Ferreira adds: “We’re also pleased that in addition to the products we will display, we will be attending the show with our long-time technology solutions partner in Brazil, Gomaq. Gomaq has a long-standing history of providing excellent technology products, service, and support for Brazil, and has offered a number of DASCOM products through the years as part of our lengthy and meaningful relationship.”

DASCOM Americas is Central Virginia-based and a wholly owned subsidiary of DASCOM Holdings a Hong Kong-based technology solutions provider that does business in more than 100 countries globally.
